The Impact of Automation on Employment: Just the Usual Structural Change?

The research aim is threefold: to discuss impact of automation on unemployment and the various countervailing forces for technological unemployment within sectors that compensate for loss of job; to identify which sectors experience technology-driven shifts in employment and to identify occupations partly or entirely automable.
